bits and pieces collective 1

This is my ode to the bits and pieces that clutter my house and mind, that lay in corners behind couches that sit on sideboards or in baskets awaiting return to their rightful homes, you finally make me smile.

  1. My Mum had that sewing pattern when I was little. She made heaps from it, most of it in corduroy (bright sapphire blue and purple). It's an interesting photographic exercise and it would be interesting to see what other people's pallets would look like. Mine would be postcards, tools, marbles and little bottles (tiny) that Craig keeps bringing home from the bush. I don't really know where to put them.

  2. When you photograph them like that they make me smile too, much prettier then them sitting behind the lounge. Such lovely collections:)

  3. I'd love to see other peoples pallets, I think it tells a lot about a person. I am planning one session a week as I am never short of material, and I agree they are pretty, thank you.
Tanya the tiny bottles from the bush has me curious, what type of bottles?

  4. Thank you for sharing, I am sure each one has a story to tell. I especially like the seashell.

  5. Ooh.....lots of little treasures. I'm always finding bits and bobs under the couch when I'm down looking for the TV remote control. It's amazing what you can find! You should frame them!
